In under 5 hrs, Katelyn Lidkea will hear her sentence!
I have been through this many times now – hoping our animal welfare system, enforcement system and justice system work. To actually do their jobs and protect animals and really hold those who harm them accountable.
I want today to be different.
I fear it will be a slap. This is why….
We talk about the 54 dead puppies in the freezer, all the suffering she forced upon them. How evil, how horrific.
BUT WE NEED TO NEVER FORGET WHAT AWS HAS CHOSEN TO DO…..
Katelyn Lidkea’s crimes and the time window that AWS is using as a basis of the charges is just a mere sliver of time and just a handful of animals.
AWS only removed a few of those 54 puppies from the freezer to use as a basis of charging her.
WHY IS SHE NOT FACING CHARGES FOR WHAT SHE DID TO ALL OF THESE POOR CREATURES !!!!!
I am so furious at AWS who failed to act time and time again despite calls that Katelyn Lidkea was harming animals.
We should all be disgusted at their investigation…it is absolutely obvious they were not seeking true justice for all that suffering and death.
I am so furious that they allowed Alison Casemore to literally skate from facing the true breadth of justice she deserved for her role and the blood on her hands in this.
Here is JUST ONE puppy Katelyn Lidkea and Alison Casemore allowed – yes allowed to suffer. This puppy languished for days, trying to breath in the shower because Katelyn would not take him to the vet.
