Shelby came into our care very much by chance. For some reason, Linda was drawn to a municipal animal control site. Shelby was one of several dogs listed as a stray and as they were full they were actually waiving adoption fees. From a rescue perspective, the “free to a good home” thing is very worrying as there are evil people out there.
Shelby stayed with “Auntie Cheryle” decompressed and learned how just to be a dog and build confidence.
Very happy to report that Shelby has found an absolutely amazing home with a family who already had a shepherd.
