Another House of Horrors

Stoney Creek, Ontario – McNeilly Avenue – Backyard Breeder – AWS Knew and DID NOTHING!!!

Please join us and demand a change to this broken animal welfare system. Saturday, July 19 from 10am to 2pm in Niagara Falls. Detail on the Humane Initiative website under Information.

Five weeks ago Provincial Animal Welfare Services (AWS) visited this property…five weeks ago!

Today 4 July 2025….over 40+ dogs, multiple breeds were removed from the property alive, in poor condition.

Multiple bags of deceased animals were also removed.

A locksmith had to be called to enter the premises after the woman inside refused to comply with a lawful order/warrant. The locksmith reports inside was horrendous and the smell would knock you backwards.

Alina Vernigorova the occupant, a woman was removed in handcuffs.

DOES THIS MEAN CRIMINAL CODE CHARGES ?????

These conditions and odours do not happen overnight. AWS was called to this address several times…..how could they let this continue?

At the VERY least, this was bylaw infraction…this SHOULD have been stopped long ago.

This poor dog has his ears cut off! He was taken by Hamilton Animal Services to an 24×7 emergency vet hospital late last night 3 July 2025.

AWS had been called and called. They could not be bothered to visit. They called Hamilton Animal Services to pick up this dog and transport to emergency vet as Hamilton Police felt it could not wait. Hamilton Police had called AWS several time to attend to the scene….they never did !!!!

  1. This makes me sick. And it needs to stop. These poor animals don’t have a voice. These people need punished.

    1. Agree Janet. Until people come together and collectively demand change nothing will happen. The government cares more about retaining power and greed than doing the morally right thing. It is shameful and disheartening.

    2. If you can take pictures of these poor animals Why are you not removing them
      And placing them
In safety This should never happen

      1. Not sure who this is directed to. If you are talking about animal advocates not removing them from bad situations then that is not always possible, nor is it legal. We are forced to “trust” that a system we know is broken will protect these poor animals and that abusers will face justice. Time and time again our greatest fears are realized.
