Under Ontario’s Animals for Research Act, this inhumane cruelty quietly exists.
Doug Ford portrayed the angered, disgusted public figure as the horrors of dog experiments at London’s St. Joseph’s hospital were exposed thanks to a whistle blower.
What the people of Ontario need to be fully aware of is that it is this governments legislation that allows AND aids this horrific treatment of animals.
Additionally, under this legislation, a lab can reach out to Ontario municipal pounds and secure domestic animals to be their “Guinea pigs”.
Strays who have passed the mandatory stray hold period and owner surrenders are immediately available to these labs.
The people of Ontario need to understand what is happening. We must NOT be fooled by the crocodile tears and fabricated horror from these officials.
