Skye was a case that she was simply discarded when a new puppy came on the scene.
The owners never had her spayed, she was on poor quality food, not taken to the vets. They wanted her rehomed. So this is sad right? BUT it is also a blessing. Because now Skye has the absolutely BEST family you could wish for.
Skye was in our care for 5 months and a couple of times we thought maybe we had found the right family for her but no, they were still out there. Then the magic happened…the family saw Skye’s profile and knew, just knew she was their dog. They are 100% committed to her.
That is just the best feeling…when you know this is where this dog is meant to be! Skye’s new family is active and the best part is that they involve Skye in their activities and outings and she LOVES it! The bond has become so strong.
