Mia

We got the call to help 10 yr old Mia the end of August 2023.

Her owner was desperately looking for a safe and loving home as he had to move September first and couldn’t bring Mia. As a senior dog of 10 yrs of age and unspayed she would be euthanized within days if owner had to surrender her to a shelter, which was becoming a reality.

As well, because she was unspayed, she was vulnerable of falling into the wrong hands.

When we drove out to pick Mia up, wow – she was gorgeous and sweet.

We were able to find a wonderful foster who had a real soft spot for seniors. And the best part – he and dis daughter fell in love with her and adopted her.

Sadly Mia passed of cancer in the fall of 2025. But we are so grateful for the loving family she found in her final years.
