Cruelty Free Products

 Animal Testing and Exploitation

The use of animals in research and testing has long been a controversial issue, sparking global debates on ethical treatment and scientific necessity. Our mission is to shed light on viable alternatives that not only spare animals from unnecessary suffering but also promote more accurate and effective scientific outcomes.

Advancements in technology and methodology have opened new avenues for research that minimize or eliminate the need for animal testing. From cutting-edge computer simulations and artificial intelligence models to sophisticated cell cultures and organ-on-a-chip technologies, these alternatives offer promising pathways forward. They not only provide researchers with reliable data but also ensure that ethical considerations are central to the research process.

Additionally, there are tools to use that can advise consumers which products are cruelty free and ethically sourced:

By 1996, ‘cruelty-free’ shopping had become popular, but it was also confusing, sometimes misleading, and ultimately frustrating.

Eight national animal protection groups banded together to form the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC). The CCIC promotes a single comprehensive standard and an internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo. We work with companies to help make shopping for animal-friendly products easier and more trustworthy.
